Ever Wondered How The Planets Have Influenced Your Identity? Or What The Cosmos Have In Store For You?
Kat Smith embarked on an online astrology session with Penny Dix, Intuitive Psychological Astrologer and shares what to expect from an hour online with the lady herself.
As a complete beginner in all things astrology (I barely know my own star sign), Penny begins my one to one session by explaining the fundamental principles of Astrology to me. ‘We know with certainty that the moonโs 28 day cycle and its gravitational field, influences the tides, the crops and all things in nature, especially women. Similarly, the movement of the planets create an energetic force to which we are all unconsciously connected.’ She explained.
The first chapter of our consultation explored the position of the planets at the exact time and location of my birth. Having provided these details in advance, Penny cleverly generated a beautifully detailed chart, called a Natal Chart, and masterfully brought this to life by showing me (on her globe) how the planets and the moon would have been in an entirely different plane had I been born in Australia. And so it all began to fall into place. Astrology, Penny explained, is not about fortune-telling or predicting, but what we can gleam from the main part of our constellation, looking at the Natal, Transitory, and Progressive charts, is priceless.
As she began to delve into the various โhousesโ and segments of the charts, Penny is able to make observations about me that I have not quite been able to put my finger on until now and as the session unfolded, we found out more information about perceptions, self-image and traits that I seek out in myself and others.
The whole experience felt like someone gently and lovingly articulated desires and perspectives that I had deeply been aware of, but couldnโt make sense of alone.

Pennyโs ability to achieve this is threefold. Firstly, she is a highly skilled Astrologer and has an intuitive eye for the complexities and details of the charts. Secondly, she comes from a background in Psychotherapy, therefore that intuition extends to the individual in front of her, or should I say, on her laptop screen. Thirdly, she truly wants to help.
As the world changes and we become more aware, we need people like Penny more than ever. Somehow, amidst the uncertainty and chaos which we are all wrapped up in, she is able to instil in me, for the first time in my life, a genuine sense that there is a force out there with a design for all of us.
